Gold prices in Pakistan continued their upward swing on Sunday, with 24-karat gold trading at Rs. 4,21,575 per tola. The rate for 10 grams stood at Rs. 3,61,438.9, while a single gram was priced at Rs. 36,143.89, according to rates reported from local Sarafa markets.
Silver prices also saw movement in the local market. The price for 24-karat silver was recorded at Rs. 6,010.2 per tola, with 10 grams going for Rs. 5,152.87 and a single gram priced at Rs. 515.287.
The fluctuation comes amid heightened volatility in global bullion markets, driven largely by ongoing geopolitical tensions in the Middle East. Gold and silver rates in Pakistan typically move in line with international spot prices, which shift on a daily basis depending on global demand, currency movement and regional instability.
On the international front, spot gold was trading at $4,045.37 per troy ounce, while spot silver stood at $57.602 per troy ounce.
