The Planning and Development Board, Government of Punjab, has announced 11 project-based jobs under the Climate Finance Unit Punjab, offering monthly salaries as high as Rs. 1.2 million. Applications must be submitted online by August 13, 2026, through the Punjab Jobs Portal.
The pay packages for these positions range between Rs. 400,000 and Rs. 1.2 million per month, depending on the role and grade. The top salary is attached to the post of Head of Climate Finance Unit, a PPS-12 position, making it one of the highest-paying government job announcements in the province this year.
Apart from the top post, the department has also announced openings for an Environmental Legal Expert, a Finance and Investment Specialist, and an Environment and Social Safeguard Specialist, all in PPS-11 with salaries going up to Rs. 800,000 per month. There is also one vacancy for a Climate Data Specialist in PPS-10, offering up to Rs. 600,000 monthly.
The largest chunk of hiring is for Research Analysts. Six positions have been announced under this title in PPS-09, with salaries reaching up to Rs. 400,000 per month.
Only candidates holding a Punjab domicile are eligible to apply. Each post carries its own set of qualification and experience requirements, and applicants have been advised to go through the detailed eligibility criteria listed on the Punjab Jobs Portal before submitting their applications.
All 11 positions are project-based and temporary in nature, tied to the Climate Finance Unit Punjab project. The Planning and Development Board has also noted that it reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies depending on project requirements going forward.

Government employees applying for these posts will need to route their applications through proper channel and attach a no-objection certificate from their current department.
