The position of Project Director (PPS-12) has been advertised in the Prime Ministers Programme to eliminate hepatitis C infection in Pakistan. The advert was posted on 28 November 2025, and the applications are invited within 15 days of posting.
This job is located in Islamabad and will be undertaken on a contractual platform of two years or till the project is completed. It is an essential role to play in monitoring the countrywide efforts to help in controlling and eradicating Hepatitis C in Pakistan.

Required Qualification
Candidates must possess:
- MBBS degree
- Master’s degree in:
- Public Health
- Management Sciences
- Social Sciences
PMDC and HEC must recognise all degrees. Preference will be given to applicants who have other higher qualifications.
Experience & Skills Required (Updated Criteria)
Applicants must have at least 15 years of post-qualification experience in the following areas:
- Project management and administration
- Financial management
- Working with public sector rules and regulations such as:
- PPRA Rules
- GFR
- Experience in health sector or development sector projects will be preferred.
Candidates must demonstrate strong leadership, coordination, and reporting skills.
Key Responsibilities
The selected Project Director will:
- Lead and supervise all operational activities of the Hepatitis C Elimination Project.
- Coordinate with federal and provincial health departments for project execution.
- Ensure adherence to government rules, policies, PPRA regulations, and GFR financial guidelines.
- Monitor project performance and submit regular progress, financial, and technical reports.
- Oversee procurement, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Ensure timely achievement of project milestones and evaluation targets.
- Guide project staff and field units to ensure smooth implementation of health interventions.
