Due to technical problems, Embassy of Pakistan, Riyadh and Embassy of Pakistan, Abu Dhabi have put a temporary halt to services related to passports, which is causing inconvenience for Pakistanis in the Gulf.
The official announcement says that the passport services will not be available till the problems are fixed.
Pakistan Embassy Riyadh Announces Suspension
The Embassy of Pakistan Riyadh announced that the passport services are suspended for April 29 and 30.
Officials said the disruption is related to some technical problems with the processing system. The embassy did not give any details about the nature of the problem, but said that the embassy was working on restoring normal operation.
Passport Services Also Unavailable in Abu Dhabi
In the other, the Embassy of Pakistan in Abu Dhabi informed that the services of Embassy of Pakistan’s passports are not available in the emirate at present.
The embassy has urged the public to remain patient in awaiting more news and not to go to any passport sections to avoid being inconvenienced and delayed.
Citizens to Be Notified After Restoration
Both embassies said that Pakistani nationals will be notified when services are resumed.
Increased announcements about restoration of:

will spread via official channels of communication of the Embassy.
