    As a step towards women empowerment and digital inclusion, Maryam Nawaz is officially launching the Rs. “e-Learn She Earn” programme in Punjab has been introduced with the target of 700 million.

    The project is designed to teach thousands of women up-to-date digital skills, allowing them to obtain income from freelancing, online business and remote jobs. It will be implemented under the umbrella of the Punjab government’s policy to boost the role of women in the digital economy.

    The project is expected to boost the employment of women, as well as technology-based entrepreneurship in the province, officials say.

    What Is the “e-Learn She Earn” Program?

    e-Learn She Earn is a free online digital skills training for women in Punjab.

    This project is being implemented with the support of Punjab Skills Development Fund in partnership with Women Development Department Punjab.

    The program provides 3-month online courses on different technology and freelancing subjects in free of charge.

    It’s aimed at achieving financial independence for women, working online from home.

    Purpose of the Program

    The Punjab government wants to close the digital divide and provide economic opportunities to women through technology education.

    • Support freelancing and remote work
    • Encourage online entrepreneurship

    Participants who successfully complete the course will be awarded recognised certificates.

    Eligibility Criteria

    To apply, women interested should meet the following basic requirements.

    Age Limit

    • Generally between 15 to 35 years
    • Some specialized tracks may allow applicants up to 40 years

    Residency

    Applicants must be permanent residents of Punjab with:

    • Valid CNIC
    • Or B-Form

    Educational Qualification

    Minimum education requirements may include:

    • Matric
    • Intermediate
    • Depending on the selected course
