    Punjab E-Challan: How to Pay Using Bank Apps Easily

With the help of digital innovation, drivers are able to pay their Punjab E-Challan fines through their mobile phones with the help of popular apps like HBL, Meezan Bank, UBL, and NBP. This is all you should know about making your Punjab E-Challan payment within a short period of time, in a secure and precise manner.

    What Is a Punjab E-Challan?

    A Punjab E-Challan is an e-ticket of traffic, which is issued by the Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA). These challans are created automatically through ANPR cameras or by the traffic officers in case of all kinds of violations of the traffic laws such as:

    • Overspeeding
    • Wrong-way driving
    • Lane violations
    • Helmet violations
    • Illegal parking

    Information that is important in each E-Challan has PSID (Payment Slip ID), the value of the fine, description of violation, vehicle registration and the date and time of issue. You must use PSID number to pay your challan using any bank application.

    The HBL app provides a seamless way to pay your Punjab E-Challan:

    • Log in to the HBL Mobile App.
    • Tap Payments on the home screen.
    • Select Traffic Challan → Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA).
    • Enter your PSID number.
    • The fine amount appears automatically; confirm and tap Pay.
    • Save the digital receipt generated by the app.

    Verify payment by checking History → Paid Bills in the app or via the official PSCA portal.

    2. Meezan Bank App

    Meezan Bank offers a Shariah-compliant method for E-Challan payments:

    • Open Meezan Mobile App.
    • Navigate to e-Services → Bill Payment → Traffic Challan → Punjab E-Challan.
    • Enter the PSID and confirm the amount.
    • Select your account and tap Proceed.
    • Save or screenshot your receipt.

    Check payment status in Payment History.

    3. UBL Digital App

    UBL Digital App offers a simple interface to take immediate payments:

    • Launch UBL Digital App and log in.
    • Tap Payments → Government Payments → Traffic Challan → Punjab Safe Cities E-Challan.
    • Enter the PSID and confirm details.
    • Tap Pay and save the receipt.
    • Verify in Bill Payments → History → Completed Transactions.

    4. NBP Mobile App

    NBP Digital facilitates quick payments of fines associated with the government:

    • Open NBP Mobile App and log in.
    • Tap Payments → Punjab E-Challan.
    • Enter PSID and confirm the fine.
    • Tap Pay Now and save your receipt.
    • Confirm payment under Bills → Paid Bills → Challan.

    Tips for Smooth Payments

    • Check your PSID twice so as not to pay the wrong challan.
    • Keep your banking application current.
    • Maintain sufficient balance before payment.
    • Always save or screenshot the payment receipt.
    • Allow 2–3 hours for payment updates in the PSCA system.
